I decided to engage in public education on needed issues of law.
With the current going hourly rates for attorney representation, the majority of average Americans cannot afford services of a lawyer.
The State of New York taxes people a lot, and spends a lot on school education - climate change etc. - but not on how to represent yourself in court.
I may change that. With my training and experience as a trained litigator, I may help a lot of people to learn courtroom skills in order at least not to be slaughtered by the government - or credit card companies - or foreclosing banks.
My training website will be free of charge.
Any suggestions on what should be taught first is welcome.
In view of my status as an attorney with a suspended law license, I won't be interacting with students personally.
The materials will be sometimes written, and often times in the shape of cartoons - this is not to degrade the public, but to help understand complex topics easier, in a visual format.
Here is a link to an identical article Learn to Represent Yourself In Court.
My educational materials will be in English and Russian, languages I am most comfortable in regarding legal terminology.
This is a free platform, so bear with me, I am a one-person elderly and disabled "teaching team" here doing what I believe a public service - but I am no tech savvy. The topics can be searched on the right in the word-search window.
Send me your suggestions as to what do you want to taught next - New York law, please.
